Day 1
Arrival in Lisbon or Porto
Arrival in Lisbon or Porto Airport, with assistance from our guide, and transfer to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel, briefing, and departure to our test ride. Test Ride is 31.6km / +860m. In the afternoon you can simply enjoy the facilities at your hotel or go for a walk in the area. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2
S.J. Da Pesqueira, Sequeira, Numao, Linhares & Tua - 75.7km / +1618
Departure by van to S. Joao da Pesqueira about 21km away (30 minutes). Sao Joao da Pesqueira is a small town at the top of a hill with considerable historical interest. After some coffee and pastries, you'll start our tour. Leading towards Numao, you will get the chance to visit the Castle: the first reference to this Castle dates from 960 and its peculiar wall with 4 entrances and 15 towards are not to be missed. From there, prepare yourself to go downhill with some breathtaking views of the river, vineyards, and beautiful farms. After that, you'll get a rather long climb and pass through some of the best viewpoints on the right bank of the Douro River. You'll end up on the second day riding the Tua. from where you'll take one of the most picturesque trains in Portugal towards Régua. After lunch, you'll have the time to get around the city and visit the Douro Museum, of you prefer, you can go back to the hotel by van. Dinner and overnight stay.    
Day 3
S.J. Da Pesqueira, Penedono, Meda, Marialva, Foz Coa & Pocinho - 79km / +1226m
Today's tour you call the Castle Day Tour, where you'll have the opportunity to visit some of the most outstanding castles in the region. Departure by van to S. Joao da Pesqueira and a quick pit stop to get a coffee. After about 25km, you'll start the ride to Penedono, a middle-aged town with a medieval granite Castle with beautiful views of the town. Riding east to Meda for about 20km, you'll pass by this town and castle known as Longriova Castle, a construction that dates from the beginning of the XII century and is classified as a National Monument. Following on 10km more you'll have a short stop at Marialva. The castle and village ruins are certainly one of the favorites of people who visit it. Situated at the top of a granite boulder in a dominant position of the town, this true medieval complex shows the roots of the Beria Alta Region. After a generous climb to Foz Coa, a town with its valley classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1998, and considered one of the most important open-air Paleolithic rock art sites. Your last kilometers will lead you to a rather steep descent which will take you to Pocinho, where you'll get the chance to get a regional and typical lunch. After lunch, you will drive back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.    
Day 4
Peso da Regua
Free day, this is a free day, where we propose to get some rest after the first 3 days of riding, having completed almost 200km, and about 3600m climbing.
Day 5
Pinhao, Alijo,, Favaios, Sabrosa & Pinhao - 83.9km / +2077
This will be our longest climbing day with a round trip starting and ending up at our hotel in Pinhao. This time, you'll ride in the central region of the Douro always on the right bank of Douro River. Passing by some of the most well-known wine producers and farms around Castedo, Alijó, and Favaios. It's a true up-and-down tour, through the most exquisite and "car-free" roads of the region. You'll then have a lunch at the hotel and a free afternoon to recover. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6
Pinhao, Regua, Curvaeira, Barro & Peso da Regua - 51.6km / +761
Today is your last riding day where you'll take everything easy. Starting at the hotel in Pinhao, you'll ride to what's considered the most beautiful road in Portugal located in the Doura Valley, running alongside the river. You'll end our with a lunch at one of the most unique Quintas of the Douro: Quinta da Pacheca, where you'll also get the chance to taste what's considered to be one of the best red wines from the Douro Region. Before riding back to your hotel, where you'll celebrate with a dinner together with all the group.

Departure day
Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport, assistance by our guide.
