The cycling routes on Elba islands are very varied which makes the sensation of cycling on this island even greater. On the road from Rio nell’Elba to Porto Azzuro you will find the so-called “Fonte di Coppi”. This is a place named after Fausto Coppi, towards the end of his career he came to train in Elba. That really indicates that you can enjoy road cycling in Elba. Elba is therefore also a very interesting place for cyclists.

Don’t forget to take a tour around Monte Capanne (1019m) by the coast. This is a hilly route with superb views across to the island of Corsica. The route takes you through numerous little ports with turquoise waters – it’ll be hard not to stop at every opportunity!

The island also attracts a lot of MTB Bikers coming to the Capoliveri Bike Park. Very famous is the Capoliveri Legend Cup. This Capoliveri Legend Cup is a huge MTB event for thousands of MTB lovers who gather on the island of Elba in the month of May when the island is at its most beautiful.
