Alberobello which means literally a beautiful tree is a small village and is famous for its unique Trulli structures and buildings. The famous Puglian Trullies of Alberobello are limestone dwellings and are a UNESCO heritage site since 1996. We recommend starting early today. Start in Alberobello, you leave first for Locorotondo. (Literally “round Place”, because from Martina Franca’s street, you can see the Skyline, it’s a perfect circle).
